Tawana boasts 63% spodumene increase

Western Australia’s Tawana Resources has reported back to back production increases of 63% from its flagship Bald Hill Operations in the Pilbara.

The company boasted production numbers in late October if of 28, 419 tonnes of  spodumene in the quarter ending September 30, up from 17,403 tonnes in the previous quarter.

Average production costs of $660 per tonne were realised at an average concentrate grade of 6%. Tawana shipments are estimated to be priced at $880 per tonne on a five year fob basis.
