Australian listed Galan Lithium Ltd (ASX:GLN) has today requested a trading halt, ahead of news related to the assay results from its Candelas Lithium Brine Project.
The company revealed last week that it had discovered a highly conductive intersection of brine at one of the Argentinian projects drill holes. The bring conductivity exceeded the instrument limits (200ms/cm) and was also amongst ideal host lithologies such as coarse sand, gravel, and breccia-conglomerate.
The C-01-19 hole assays have been sent to a laboratory in Argentina for analysis, with results expected to be released this week.
Despite the news, the company stock has remained flat over the month of January.
